His expertise spans business development, sales strategy and management, strategic account growth, client relationship management, bid and tender management, negotiation, and project management. He also specialises in executive coaching, stakeholder engagement, emotional intelligence, and customer experience, with a strong focus on helping organisations improve sales performance, develop high-performing teams, and achieve sustainable business growth.
Experience
Peter has worked across the private and public sectors, higher education, and international markets, including the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. He delivers sales, management, entrepreneurship, and bid management training, alongside executive coaching and business development support. His international experience also includes working with Microsoft as a Global Bid Director, supporting public-sector organisations, and managing global client relationships with BP and Castrol. He previously served as Business Development Manager at Wakefield Castrol Canada, where he led sales strategies and territory managers, achieving significant sales growth and improved profitability. At Continental Tire Canada, he developed dealer networks and sales strategies, increasing sales revenue by 31% through strategic initiatives and training programmes. Peter has designed and delivered a postgraduate Sales Strategy and Management module at the University of Dundee, contributed to programmes at the University of Aberdeen, and delivered business and project management workshops across the Middle East, including Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman.
Credentials
Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management and a Practitioner Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching. He is an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Fellow of the Association for Coaching, and a certified Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i) Practitioner. His additional qualifications include APMP certification, executive fellowship at the University of Aberdeen, and Associate Faculty status at the University of Dundee. He is also a qualified bids and tenders trainer and an experienced neurodivergence coach.
